Introductions

Well, right on the deadline.. but I got it done!
Would of been a bit earlier, but my tablet decided to spaz out on me and.. yeah.

Anywho! Here's my introduction piece for as per the journal entry.

Annnd.. here's Tayken and Blackwhisker! My two pokemorphs I'm probably best known for, especially on PMM where they're my two mains. Had BW for fourish years now, though the idea is slightly older.. I'd originally written an app with the basic character design for her two years before finally appling for www.pokemorph.com ..in which she turned from a reverse-morph cop into the friendly cannabalistic half feral-morph Rocket that she is today! (Yes, I didn exactly read the requirements very well when I was first looking into the site, aren't I glad I never submitted it back then?) So yeah, that was my first foray into PMM.. applying her and Daft Noise who I have.. pretty much abandoned as a horribly dull to play character.

Tayken's history actually goes back much further than the couple of years I've had her on PMM. She was actually my first Pokemorph character! Waaaay back in my yahoo days near on ten years ago where I first started on rp and such, Tayken was a black and purple handicapped mewtwo-morph with a.. wonderfully twisted history and a loyal pet in Creation (who's now my mascot thingy for when I do animations n stuff). She was also extremelly twinky! But.. oh well. 's the difference of 8years and all.. hehe.

Personally I've been into pokemorphs for almost as long as I've been into pokemon (which actually took another friend getting really into it for me to do so.. and I'm still stuck where they grew up, haha.. so sad). Anywho, when I first discovered the internet and used to spend much too much time trawling it at the local library I spent this absurd amount of time looking for Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Digimon,My Little Pony and.. other things pictures and things! Wasn't so much for the fanart back then.. or not past for Sailor Moon mostly anyway.
Anywho.. looking up pokemon took me to VCL annnd.. Pokemorphs! I thought these were definately pretty cool. No idea what a furry was at the time and I utterly ignored all the furry art on that sight, only specifically looking for the pokemorph stuff and going through as much as I could and.. yeah. Started drawing them myself! I've even got some pretty old not fantastic stuff up on there still under an older username I used to go by.

So yes, I've been into pokemorphs almost as long as pokemon! Though I've drawn them rather more consistantly the last couple of years after joining PMM and they tend to be the main thing taking up my gallery. Including the two girls in this picture (Yes, they're BOTH girls.)


As to the picture itself well.. Not happy with the background, but I just want it done now. BW has a reeeeeally big rump and I'm blaming it on a semi-crouched position. This is the first time I've drawn BW with someone who wasn't around her own almost 9ftish standing height. Tayken's 6ft without heels and not standing straight here. Soo.. BW's biiiiiiiig.
Dunno if I like the texture on her skirt and.. was trying some soft shading again for the first time in a while. I dunno how well it's gone annnnnd.. I've totally forgotten to put texture on BW but blah, whateva. Next time.
I think over all it's gone okay so.. yay! And.. yeah. Done!
